In Uganda when a woman goes to give birth she must provide the supplies necessary for delivery. This kit is called a mama kit which includes things like gloves, cotton, razor blade, cord ties, cotton, baby blanket, etc. All of the moms that attend our program at the family center receive one of these kits. One kit is roughly $10. $200 will allow us to distribute 20 kits in a month ($2400 anually)!
